Moving Status & Stages

Moving Status & Stages

The 2Point App provides a structured moving flow that incorporates distinct booking statuses and tracking stages to streamline the moving process. These statuses offer clients and helpers real-time visibility into the progress of each move, from the initial booking to the completion of services.

Moving Booking Statuses

These statuses represent the phases of a move from creation to completion:

  1. Draft: Bookings in this stage are pending payment. If unpaid after one hour, the booking will automatically expire.
  2. Expired: Bookings that are not paid within the required time become inactive and require rebooking.
  3. Pending: After payment, the move awaits assignment to a helper or moving team. During this stage, the client retains the option to cancel.
  4. Assigned: A minimum of 2 team members are assigned to a moving order. The moving team is matched with the booking, and preparations for the move commence.
  5. Started: The movers have initiated the moving process and are on their way to the pickup location.
  6. Completed: The move has been successfully completed, marking the end of the booking cycle.

Tracking Stages

The following stages provide detailed insights into the real-time progress of a move:

  1. Order Placed: The move is confirmed and ready for assignment to a moving team.
  2. Order Assigned: A moving team is assigned, with their details and assignment timestamp visible to the client.
  3. Movers in Transit: The moving team is en-route to the moving location. Clients can track the move in real-time via the app.
  4. Start Moving: The moving team is on site and have started the moving service.
  5. Moving in Progress: Movers are on-site at the destination and actively unloading items.
  6. Completed: All items have been loaded/unloaded, packed/unpacked (if agreed upon), and confirmed by the client.
  7. Incomplete: The move could not be completed due to specific circumstances (e.g., inaccessible location, client unavailability). Compensation is still processed as an attempt was made.
  8. Order Cancelled: The booking was canceled by the client, the movers, or the system due to specific conditions or at allowable stages.

This structured approach ensures transparency and efficiency throughout the moving process, providing both clients and helpers with clear expectations and progress updates. Let me know if this needs further refinement!
